My background is film. I trained as a cinematographer originally, shooting a feature film back in 2020 during Covid before transitioning into producing. I went on to do my MFA in Producing at the NFTS. During that time I became interested in generative AI and agentic AI, and generally in the world of creative tech. I love writing, particularly television, and have a 6x30 comedy I wrote that's currently in early development chats with a UK indie production company.

Alongside that I build things. Gateweave is my AI-driven production company focused on commercials and UGC content, FilmRun I launched several months back and is a SaaS product focused on helping filmmakers build their film festival strategy, and Blackslate is an in-progress intelligence platform for film/TV development teams sourcing IP and legal insight. I kept hitting problems that nobody had built a tool for, so I became curious on how I could build my own.

Before any of that I did marketing for Mous. If you know the brand, you know what that involved: throwing phones out of helicopters in Vegas, off F1 cars, out of planes, and filming what survived (or didn't). "And it's absolutely fine!" being our irritating end line.
