The BFI is the UK’s lead organisation for film, television, and the moving image, a cultural charity that works with government and industry to make the UK the most creatively exciting and prosperous place for the screen sector. Spurred in a certain regard by the rapid, cross-cutting advances in screen and performance-based technologies, ours is a sector which has undergone significant shifts of late. Work on the Foresight Lab sits in the BFI’s Research and Statistics Unit.

i2 media is a research agency bringing behavioural and consumer insight to inform technology and media development. i2 applies methodology and principles from user experience, psychology, behavioural science, and the attention economy.

Olsberg•SPI is an international creative industries consultancy, specialising in the global screen sector. Formed in 1992, the firm’s expert services enable their clients to plan, design and deliver sustainable growth, evidence impact, and evolve and expand in a highly competitive and fast-moving screen sector. The Olsberg•SPI team working on CoSTAR includes Leon Forde, Marta Moretto, Joshua Dedman, Emma Openshaw, Peter Cobb, Kiera Obi and Lili Ruzsiczky.

Station 12 provide advice and capital to innovative new companies in sport, entertainment and knowledge. It combines operational, investment and advising experience, giving a unique and deep understanding of its sectors.

Goldsmiths, University of London is an Arts, Humanities and Social Science specialist university based in New Cross, Southeast London. The Foresight Lab is hosted in Goldsmiths’ Department of Psychology, working closely with related departments including Computing and Media, Communications & Cultural Studies.

The University of Edinburgh has been providing students with world-class teaching for more than 425 years, unlocking the potential of some of the world's leading thinkers since 1583. The Foresight Lab draws on expertise from the Edinburgh College of Art, building on work in the Design Informatics research centre.
