CoSTAR Live Lab PPP Call: Intelligent Venues

CoSTAR Live Lab invites UK businesses to apply for the Intelligent Venues funding call, the latest opportunity within the CoSTAR Network’s Prototypes & Pilots Programme (PPP).

This call will focus on one of the most transformative frontiers in live performance: the rise of adaptive, data-driven environments that respond to audience behaviour and performer movement in real-time. We will be seeking ambitious proposals from consortia led by UK-registered companies to explore how sensing, AI, 5G, and human-centred design can redefine the relationship between performers and audiences, creating truly responsive live experiences.

Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive support package, including cash grants between £30,000 and £50,000, alongside up to 20 days of in-kind access to our state-of-the-art R&D infrastructure at Production Park. This will provide an unparalleled opportunity to test and prototype concepts using our large-volume Virtual Production (VP) stage, biometric user experience (UX) lab, and private 5G network, all while receiving dedicated expert technical and R&D support from our team. Proposals must be delivered by a consortium including at least one lead UK-registered company and one live performance or creative production partner.
