What's on offer

These collaborative workshops provide a unique opportunity to dig into what multisensory experience could mean for your practice and your business.

Join us for a first look at our brand new Multisensory Hub, bringing together resources, insights and case studies to support creative businesses ready to explore multisensory work.

Alongside industry peers, you'll weigh up the costs and benefits, exchange ideas, network, and feed into CoSTAR National Lab's future funding calls.

The workshops will be held in Production Park Wakefield with CoSTAR Live Lab, Edinburgh with CoSTAR Realtime Lab, Studio Ulster Belfast with CoSTAR Screen Lab, and London with CoSTAR National Lab and CoSTAR Foresight Lab. For people outside those areas, we will also be offering an online workshop.

Who it's for

Creatives, technologists, designers, producers, business developers and organisations making or investing in experiential work across live performance, XR, installation, games, themed entertainment or exhibitions are invited to take part.

Apply to join one of our Multisensory Workshops by completing the Expression of Interest form by Sunday 24 May 2026

What is multisensory experience

Multisensory experience describes creative work that intentionally engages multiple senses, such as sight, sound, touch, movement and smell, to shape how audiences encounter stories, spaces and interactions. Here are some examples of what that work can look like:
