Inclusion Executive Producer Deepa Mann-Kler

As Inclusion Executive Producer at StoryFutures, Deepa champions inclusive innovation across CoSTAR and CDT AI in research, production and skills development, ensuring equitable access, representation and impact across the UK’s creative technology ecosystem. Deepa Mann-Kler is a recognised leader in equality, diversity and inclusion, with over three decades of experience embedding inclusive practice. Deepa has designed and delivered high-impact EDI strategies for national broadcasters, research councils, health bodies and creative studios, integrating inclusive design throughout commissioning, content creation and audience engagement. Her work bridges governance and creativity to produce stories and experiences that resonate with under-represented communities. She is also CEO of Neon, Director of Belfast XR Festival, Visiting Professor of Immersive Futures at Ulster University and an Artist. Her award-winning cross-platform work spans virtual and augmented reality, animation and live action storytelling, with a focus on ethical practice and widening access to opportunity.
