Director of OperationsPippa Bostock

As Director of Operations, Pippa plays a central role in the leadership of CoSTAR National Lab, overseeing governance, finance, compliance, risk management and operational delivery. She also leads the development of strategic partnerships and funding relationships that support CoSTAR's long-term growth and impact across the UK's creative industries. Pippa is also a Director of Portsmouth Creates CIC, and a member of the Chapter for Portsmouth Cathedral. In addition to this I am an active Scout Leader, having worked with Beaver, Cub and Explorer groups over the last ten years. Pippa was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Mary Rose Trust, and a Director of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Operations Limited. This exciting and dynamic role covers a multitude of areas within the organisation including operational management of the Visitor Centre for Portsmouth Historic Dockyard (PHD), Ticket Sales, Marketing Strategy for PHD, and lots more. In recognition of her work in this area, Pippa became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in 2025. In my previous role as Business Director for the Centre for Creative and Immersive XR, I utilised my experience and passion for the Creative Industries to specialise in Creative and Immersive XR - developing new and rewarding partnerships at all levels. Pippa became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2017, in recognition of her work in this Creative and Cultural Sector.
