Mark is Professor of Digital Innovation at Royal Holloway and Head of Business Futures at the CoSTAR National Lab. His research explores how emerging technologies (e.g., AI, the Spatial Internet, IoT and blockchain) create value and reshape how we live, work and play – dissolving physical and virtual boundaries, overcoming time-and-place constraints, amplifying human and organisational capabilities and delivering richer, more reliable experiences. With a current focus on the creative industries and their cross-sector spillovers, he publishes widely and collaborates with industry, drawing on his prior experience in project management and consulting.
