Creative Technology Futures: Policy Foresight Methodology Toolkit

Developed as a companion resource to 'Creative Technology Futures: Policy Pathways to 2035 and Beyond', this toolkit translates the project’s foresight approach into a format that policymakers, regional authorities and innovation organisations can apply in their own work. The toolkit demonstrates how the methodology was used to explore possibe futures for the UK’s creative technology landscape, combining present-day policy insight with futures thinking, participatory workshops and scenario-building. Designed to help organisations surface shared priorities, identify long-term tensions and develop more anticipatory, place-sensitive policy interventions, the toolkit provides a practical framework for exploring uncertainty and informing long-term policy design.
